Refund policy

We strive for our clients’ complete and total satisfaction. If, for any reason, you are not entirely satisfied with your Souk rug, you may return it within two weeks of its delivery for a full refund of the purchase price.

We recognize that a well-appointed home is established layer upon layer, slowly, and with careful consideration. Fixtures and furniture from which one expects harmony, nonetheless sometimes clash. The minute variations in natural hues and shades — whether of a rug or of upholstery and paint — may read differently in rooms of different shapes and sizes. Context matters. A rug is the centerpiece of a room, and it can be graciously employed only if it harmonizes with the space for which it is intended.

For these reasons, your purchase of a Souk rug is risk-free. We encourage our clients to experiment with their rug using different furniture arrangements. We also advise that a new rug be viewed under light of varying intensity and sources, both natural and artificial. Rugs are folded for shipping, and a week or more may be needed for creases to disappear fully. This is just as well, for clients sometimes need a week to fall in love their rug — love at first sight is a rarity, after all. We kindly ask that clients take measures to prevent soiling and other damage when welcoming a Souk rug into their home.

 

Returns Process

1.    To initiate a return, kindly contact us at info@soukrugs.com within 14 days of the rug’s delivery date. Requests initiated after this period are not eligible for return.

2.    Souk will arrange complimentary return shipping via a courier service.

3.    Clients are responsible for packing the rug for return. We encourage clients to retain the original packing materials during this period in case of return. Clients are responsible for any additional out-of-pocket expenses related to packing and returning the rug, including fees to acquire new packing material. 

4.    Refunds will be processed as expeditiously as possible upon examination of the returned article. Refund payments will be made to the payment method used to place the initial order.

5.    Please note that rugs must be returned in a condition identical to their original listing for a refund to be issued. Soiling, damage, improper cleaning, and other signs of use by a client after purchase may invalidate a return request. Souk retains the right to decline a refund request, or to deduct the cost of repairs, cleaning, or other services required for any returned articles.
